Pierre RademakerPierre Rademaker
CREATIVE DIRECTOR / FOUNDER
Pierre moved to San Luis Obispo in 1972 to found the graphic design program at Cal Poly after working in San Francisco and Los Angeles. He founded Pierre Rademaker Design in 1980, and the studio has grown considerably under his direction. His work has received awards from Communication Arts, Print, and Graphis magazines. Pierre has an M.F.A. from Syracuse University and a B.A. from Cal State Long Beach.

 

  

 

Debbie ShibataDebbie Shibata
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
After graduating in 1977 from UCLA with a B.A. in design, Debbie worked in a variety of professional environments, doing graphic design, illustration and lettering. Since re-locating to San Luis Obispo in 1991, she has worked with Pierre, first as a free-lancer, then as a staff designer. Debbie's work has won awards from HOW, Graphic Design and American Logo magazines.

 
 

Jennifer MoermanJennifer Moerman
ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGNER
A longtime Central Coast resident, Jennifer has worked for Rademaker Design since 1993. She specializes in CAD, providing drafting and design for the studio. She also does illustration and rendering for several clients. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cal Poly.

 

  

Kenny B. SweteKenny B. Swete
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Originally from El Salvador, Kenny moved to the Central Coast to attend Cal Poly. She has a B.S. in Art and Design, and concentrates on corporate identity and packaging. Kenny's work has received recognition from the American Corporate Identity annual. She is currently telecommuting from Los Angeles.

 
 

Erika Funston-TimmsErika Funston-Timms
OFFICE MANAGER
Erika joined Rademaker Design in 2006 after re-locating from Indiana. While in the mid-west, she was a travel agent for 4 years. She enjoys traveling and wine tasting with her husband, as well as running 5Ks with her nephew. Originally from New Mexico, Erika loves green chile and Albuquerque sunsets.
 

 

  

Sara SchultzSara Schultz
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Sara grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and graduated in 2005 from Cal Poly with a BFA in Graphic Design. Following internships with both Gallo Creative Services and HKA Design in San Francisco, she relocated back to the Central Coast to pursue her career. Sara specializes in logos, package design, and illustration. Some of her outside interests include horseback riding, snowboarding, traveling, and old cars.
